Our Core Principle
AI-nime exists to empower independent creators. We believe in creative freedom — including dark themes, moral complexity, and mature storytelling — but that freedom exists within firm boundaries. We will always act to protect users, third parties, and society from harm.
These guidelines exist not to limit your creativity, but to protect it. A platform where creators feel safe is a platform where great stories get made.
What Is Allowed
The following content is welcome on AI-nime:
- Original stories — your own characters, worlds, and narratives
- Dark and mature themes — including violence, trauma, moral ambiguity, complex antagonists, and war — when handled with creative intent
- Uploaded assets you own — reference images, audio recordings, and artwork you created or have explicit rights to use
- Fan-adjacent concepts — original stories inspired by genres or styles (e.g. shonen action, isekai) that do not reproduce specific copyrighted characters
- Adult themes — mature storytelling that is not explicitly sexual or pornographic
When in doubt, ask yourself: would a responsible editor at a major manga publisher be comfortable publishing this? If yes, it almost certainly belongs here.
What Is Never Allowed
ZERO TOLERANCE — CSAM: Any content that sexually exploits, depicts, endangers, or targets minors in any way is absolutely forbidden. This includes written, illustrated, AI-generated, and photographic content. Violations result in immediate permanent termination, report to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children), and referral to law enforcement. There are no exceptions, no appeals, and no second chances.
The following content is also strictly prohibited:
- Explicitly sexual or pornographic content — including simulated or AI-generated sexual imagery
- Harmful content — content that incites violence, promotes self-harm or suicide, constitutes hate speech, or targets individuals based on protected characteristics
- IP violations — reproducing copyrighted characters, artwork, music, or dialogue without authorisation; creating deepfakes or non-consensual content of real people
- Deceptive content — impersonating other creators, spreading misinformation, or claiming AI-generated content is human-made without disclosure
- Spam and platform abuse — automated generation for spam, content farms, or any use designed to circumvent platform limits
How to Report
If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately:
- Use the report button on any public content card
- Email legal@ai-nime.com with the URL and a description
- For urgent CSAM reports, contact NCMEC directly at missingkids.org in addition to reporting to us
We treat every report seriously. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours for urgent violations and within 5 business days for standard reviews.
How We Enforce
Our enforcement follows a graduated approach based on severity:
- Warning. For first-time or minor violations — the content is removed and the creator is notified with an explanation.
- Suspension. For repeated or more serious violations — the account is temporarily suspended pending review.
- Termination. For severe or repeated violations — the account is permanently terminated with no refund of remaining credits.
- Law enforcement referral. For illegal content (especially CSAM) — we report to the relevant authorities immediately and preserve evidence for investigation.
We reserve the right to skip directly to termination or law enforcement referral for any sufficiently severe violation, regardless of prior history.
Appeals
If you believe a content removal or account action was made in error, you may appeal within 30 days by emailing legal@ai-nime.com with the subject line 'APPEAL' and a description of the situation.
We will review appeals and respond within 10 business days. Appeals related to CSAM violations are not eligible for review.
